10:15 a.m.- Crab Festival Shrimp Parade. Lineup at 9:15 a.m. at the parking lot in front of Noodles. All entrants must have adult supervision before the parade and while walking the parade route. 11:30 a.m. - United States Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo – Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue and Hoist Demonstration by MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter and Rescue Swimmer. Sponsored by the USCG Air Station Kodiak: whether one mile or a thousand miles away, Air Station Kodiak aircrews and aircrafts come to the aid of mariners in distress.

1 p.m. - Norm Holm Memorial Survival Suit Race. Teams that want to participate must sign up at the boat ramp by Harbormaster's office before 12:30 p.m. on the day of the event. Serious fun in this popular event! Entry fee is $40 per team. Those who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive a plaque, hooded sweatshirt/sweatpants. Kodiak Maritime Museum sponsors this 90 minute walking tour giving visitors and non-fishing residents an up close and personal tour of the Alaskan fishing industry. Learn about the boats, the gear, the fish, and the men and women who make their living in the nation's most dangerous occupation.
